Free · for brands entering Saudi Arabia

Is your brand already on the Saudi register?

Every cosmetic sold in Saudi Arabia must be notified to SFDA, in a public register. Tell us your brand, where it is made, its category and the decision you are weighing; we send a one-page check of what our copy of the register holds, free, within two working days.

Your check adds your own line: whether your brand is notified, how many live notifications it has, and through how many companies.

Derived counts only. Registrants, the Saudi companies that file the notifications, are counted, never named.

What the check shows

Four questions, one page.

The check reads the register for your brand and for your category made in your country. It shows who is already filing, how fast and how concentrated the filing is. It does not say what to charge, whom to appoint or whether shoppers will buy.

1
Is your brand there?
Live notifications under your brand's name, and how many companies file it. If none carry the name, we look for it under your company's name and inside product names, and read those matches by hand before the check goes out.
2
How crowded is your category?
Live notifications and brands in your category made in your country, and their share of the whole Saudi category.
3
Who is arriving?
Brands from your country notified for the first time since January 2025, the five largest by name, and the filing pace against 2024.
4
Who files it?
How many Saudi registrants file your category from your country, how much the five largest hold, and how many of its notifications reach their expiry in the next six months.

How the check is counted

Source. The SFDA public cosmetics notification register; our copy is complete to 6 Sep 2026. Only derived counts appear on the check, never register rows.

Dates. A notification is counted in the year it was filed, five years before its expiry date. "Since January 2025" runs from 1 Jan 2025 to 6 Sep 2026 and is compared with 2024 per month.

Countries. The declared country of manufacture, which is not always the brand's home: a French brand made in Italy counts as Italy.

Limits. A notification is a product filing. It says nothing about volumes, sales, imports or agreements; a brand with no filing may still be in talks. Registrants are counted, never named; a registrant files notifications, which does not prove it imports or distributes.
